This is the Director’s Cut of the Rider’s Eye View of the World Naked Bike Ride in London UK on 10th June 2017. This “rider’s eye” view is meant to show you what it looks, sounds and feels like to be a WNBR rider. It is a compilation of the best bits with improved editing and soundtrack.
It was claimed that around two thousand people participated.It was a good, sunny day and large crowds cheered on the riders. The protest was divided between seven routes, which converged to form the full protest ride. This film starts with the 200 riders at Tower Hill, led by Natasha Porter, who join together with the others to form the 2,000 rider peloton.
WNBR is a world-wide campaign, with a number of linked themes. Its objectives are:
– Protest against the global dependency on oil
– Curb car culture
– Obtain real rights for cyclists
– Demonstrate the vulnerability of cyclists on city streets
– Celebrate body freedom
